“Na Rychte” gallery was established in the place of former Baroque contribution granary built in 1699. It is a unique cultural monument in whole Silesia region.
In the past, the contribution referred to some kind of a natural tax or common contribution of grain gathered across the village, then given to the ruler or enemy. In fact, it operated as a grain reservoir for the whole village in case a period of poor harvest would come. Granary or Rychta offers system of unusually connected rooms and some remains of a special technology – granary with mill. What makes this building very special are its unusual vistas and plaster layers, which made a unique atmosphere due to an aging factor and there is no other gallery place like this.
In Uvalno, tourists may also visit a rectory, located just opposite the Rychta.
