Hranicni Vrch Lookout
Local community of Mesto Albrechtice opened a new lookout tower for public on October 4, 2011.
It is lookout tower of a unique iron frame, consisting of two areas connected with a metal footbridge. The lookout tower is located on Hranicni Peak, which is 541 metres above sea level and its observation platform is in the height of 25 metres. To reach the top, there are 149 steps to be climbed. The lookout offers panoramic views to the countryside towards Krnov, Tremesna and Poland, of course. The lookout is freely accessible and with no admission.
Drive by car: From Krnov towards Mesto Albrechtice and continue towards Tremesna. At the crossing towards Jesenik turn right, pass the petrol station and keep going straight on. Pass Dakon Company and the lookout is just up the hill.
Ride a bike: From Krnov to Mesto Albrechtice take cycling paths on Polish side, on the way back follow path no. 55 on Czech side.
